Nick Millican Expects Prices to Keep Rising in Regeneration Zones
Real estate agent Nick Millican comments on the UK´s current house trends. Victoria Wallace and Ryan Adair experienced something that many people are experiencing right now. Their landlord was going to increase their rent by more than 50%, so this couple thought that enough was enough.
They were going to purchase their next home in a regeneration area. Now, they are living in Hayes Village, which is located in Zone 5, and they are enjoying their new community. According to Nick Millican, these regeneration zones are known for the additional investment that has been coming their way in recent years.
Nick Millican has stated that the Hayes community now boasts several housing developments that are becoming very popular. One such development took possession of the former Nestle factory and became “Hayes Village by Barratt London.” The building that housed EMI records has also been converted into “The Old Vinyl Factory.”
Commuters in this section can reach Heathrow and Central London very quickly. Nick Millican also stated that the movement into the regeneration areas caused prices to increase.
From 2013 to 2023, housing prices increased by as much as 80% in Hayes. Although prices are high right now, Nick Millican says that prices have the potential to go even higher. In many locations, such as Vauxhall and Battersea, prices have gone as high as they are going to go. However, prices in Bermondsey increased by 63% in the past 10 years, and Nick Millican expects its prices to keep rising into the future.
