Just recently, Sujit and a team of other constitutional legal scholars from all over the world sat down and wrote an open special letter to the Spanish and Catalan governments. The primary role of the unique letter is to address the crisis that is currently taking place in both governments. The letter is asking the two leaders to engage in dialogue so that their subjects do not have to suffer. In the open letter, Sujit and his team of scholars are asking Puigdemont, the Catalonian president to show his commitment to the country by committing to the seceding plan from Spain.
