Dr. Jennifer Lee Walden is a renowned American academic, a plastic surgeon and entrepreneur. She is liberal and feminist who picked her career in cosmetic surgery to assist other women in improving their appearance and self-confidence.
Dr. Jennifer Walden was born in Austin, Texas. Her father was a dentist and her mother a surgical nurse. She went Anderson High School and then graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas. She graduated as salutatorian in her medical doctorate at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1998.
In 2003, Dr. Walden attained an Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency in the same university. She received a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat hospital in 2004.
Dr. Jennifer Walden began her illustrious career at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. For three years she worked as the director of Aesthetic Surgery Program at the hospital. Later, she worked for seven years at Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon and Associate in New York till 2011.
In December 2011, Dr. Walden moved back to Texas. She founded her own fully accredited private practice at Westlake Medical Center, Austin.
