Born in 1970, Sujit Choudhry is a Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley Law School. Professor Sujit has lectured in over 24 countries. Sujit Choudhry as a director of The Center of Constitutional Transitions says that the institution has a responsibility of generating as well as mobilizing knowledge that supports constitution-making processes. The institution engages in this initiative by assembling the international network of constitutional order experts into meetings that discuss evidence-based policy methods. In a meeting on July 19th, 2017 Ukrainian statutory law authorities and Sujit Choudhry, Berkley Law professor and Director of the Center for Constitutional Transitions, collaborated about methods that can be used to improve the recent constitutional difficulties within the semi-presidential system of government. Ukrainian Political strategists and The International Institute of Democracy and Electoral Assistance put the event together for the purpose of ameliorating governmental authorities and methods.

Sujit Choudhry is a Law Professor at UC Berkeley School of Law and held the position of Dean from 2014 through 2016. He was notably recognized as the first East Indian to ever hold the title of Dean at a prestigious law school.
