The New South Shore Ad Club:
A little older, a lot wiser, and better than ever.
The Old South Shore Ad Club:
If you’re a creative professional on the South Shore, you may remember the old South Shore Ad Club - a once thriving organization, dedicated to advancing the art of communication by providing resources, events and local networking opportunities. Launched in 1986, the Ad Club boasted more than 300 members, including both corporate and individual memberships. Unfortunately, the group disbanded in 1995, due to a variety of factors -mainly a dwindling number of attendees and unavailable vendors for required mailings.
Fast-Forward to 13 Years Later:
A few of us thought we’d like to rekindle the club, especially since we now know what pitfalls to avoid. But, this time, we are targeting a tighter niche group and are able to communicate more easily through e-mail and conference calls. We are focusing our new membership on advertising and marketing directors, writers, designers, printers, publishers, photographers, videographers, and other individuals directly related to these fields.
If you crave the company of other creative minds and want to connect with advertising and marketing professionals, this is the place for you.
