Given the state of uncertainty surrounding the future of the composition and form of the semi-presidential, unitary, republican government of Ukraine it was only a matter of time before the country got involved with the lauded Center for Constitutional Transitions. This is precisely what happened on the 10th of July in Kiev. After much discussion Mr. Choudhry offered his own opinion which would end up being one of the most provocative opinions in the meeting, that democratization in Ukraine up to this point had not been stable.  For updates on his latest work, check researchgate.net

Mr. Choudhry further went on to state that it was most crucial, at this juncture, for the policy leaders of Ukraine to collect and synthesize as wide a sampling as possible of various different constitutional policy options. In other words, he urged them to compile something of a constitutional compendium by looking to other nations, such as the United States and Britain, who had constitutional laws and see how and why certain policies succeeded and also why they failed.  For more of his views on issues and things around his area of focus, click on ceocfointerviews.com.
